The always popular trick-or-treating park event, Goblins and Goodies, will be back on October 26 from Noon – 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive.
Kids of all ages are invited to dress up and trick-or-treat at the walking trail near the play structure where there will be booths set up from local businesses and city departments giving out treats.
A Halloween costume contest will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Pavilion A. Winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced and win a Walmart gift card for age categories including 4 and under, 5-9 years old, 10-14 years old, and 15 and up. 1st place will receive $50, 2nd place will receive $25, and 3rd place will receive $15.
Meanwhile, the Zombie Dance Off will begin at 2 p.m. The dance party features family-friendly Halloween music that the whole family can enjoy.
